A BDSM limits list is a structured tool that helps you identify and communicate your personal boundaries, desires, and curiosities across a wide range of intimate activities. It is one of the most important communication tools in any BDSM dynamic.
How do I use my results?
When you submit, you get a results page that sorts every item into four groups — what you love, what you are curious about, what is a maybe, and your hard limits — plus anything you left blank. To hand it to a partner, use Copy Summary: that puts the whole list, all four groups and the unanswered items, on your clipboard as text you can paste into any messaging app. There is also a Copy Link button, and it is worth knowing exactly what it does. Your answers live in the browser you took the test in and are never uploaded, so the link reopens your results there and nowhere else — not on your partner's phone, and not in a different browser on your own machine. That is the trade for never storing your answers, and we would rather tell you than let you find out by sending it.
Is my data stored securely?
Your answers and your results are stored only in your browser and are never sent to us — there is no server-side record of what you marked as a limit. When you submit, we do log one counter row: which of the tests it was, the IP address the request came from, the country that IP resolves to, and the time. That row holds none of your answers. The shareable link works only on the device where the test was completed, and you can also copy a text summary to share via any messaging app.
What is the difference between Maybe and Hard Limit?
Maybe means you are open to discussing the activity but are not sure yet. A Hard Limit means the activity is completely off the table and should not be brought up during play. Both boundaries deserve equal respect.
Do I need to answer every item?
No. You can submit your results at any time. Unanswered items will appear in a separate section on your results page so nothing is hidden from a partner reviewing your list.
Can I retake the test?
